This workshop will introduce the concept of arts integration for culturally responsive pedagogy through the RRFF’s TeachRock curriculum. Participants will take part in discussions, hands-on activities, and leave with techniques that can be used tomorrow as well as access to lesson plans that will help engage students for years to come.

Expected Outcomes:

2. Demonstrate the power of popular music as a means to create classroom experiences that represent all stakeholders
3. Help you use popular music as a gateway to meaningful engagement with your students
4. Introduce you to the more than 150 free, standards-aligned lesson plans at Teachrock.org
