If you have a new ViewSonic Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), and are excited to learn how to integrate it into classroom instruction, then this is a session you do not want to miss! This session will provide you with the basic function and use of your new IFP including tips for cleaning and care, exploration and customization of the Android Embedded Player, how to connect external devices to the Panel, and an overview the control buttons on the front of the Panel. Following this, you will explore the tools that can easily be accessed from the Panel’s side toolbar, and see examples of they can be used to enhance instruction. Be sure to bring your laptop or Chromebook so can participate in a hands-on activity to explore ViewSonic’s myViewBoard collaborative software suite. You will learn how to create digital whiteboard canvases called QuickBoards that will allow your students to collaboratively annotate and engage in lesson activities remotely from their Chromebooks. You will then explore ways to leverage QuickBoards to support classroom management, foster opportunities for student-to-student collaboration, and quickly check for student understanding of concepts shared utilizing the Polling Tool.
