This session is designed for individuals who are currently using Schoology. Participants will be exposed to a handful of advanced Schoology features. Teachers will learn how to create and use Grading Groups, Individually Assign Materials, Shared Discussions, Completion Rules, Tagging Mastery Standards, and Section Linking. Participants will also have time to apply what they learned as they complete the Level 3 Schoology Challenge task cards.
In this session, we will be teaching VB Educators how to utilize the program Class Dojo as a way to motivate students within the classroom as well as a way to communicate with parents on a more relational level. This session will provide an opportunity for hands-on exploration that equips educators with an entry level understanding of the program. Attenders will walk away with the knowledge of creating their own classroom in Class Dojo, uploading portfolio assignments, communicating with parents as a whole class as well as individually, and finding ways to incorporate Class Dojo into their classroom.
Combine the organizational power of Schoology with digital tools that you already use to differentiate the learning process and content based on interest, readiness, or product in order to deliver a stream-lined, personalized learning experience. Participants will learn about features of Schoology that promote differentiation, such as Completion Rules, Grading Groups, and Individually Assign.
Google Sites are a great way for students to present what they have learned! In this session, you will be able to learn how to have your students use Google Sites through the various subjects you teach within your classroom. Students love creating Sites and showing what they have learned. Google Sites is a great tool for students to have as an option for their voice and choice during performance tasks as well as to work through their writing process in language arts! Through this session you will learn how to show your students how to create Google Sites by learning it through the student lens as well as teacher tips with implementation!
